5 – Green + Pink

Right, let’s get one thing straight. This skirt is amazing, and that colour combination – green with pink – works so well, we are totally kicking ourselves for not trying it before. 2017 is definitely the year to play around with colour, and it doesn’t matter what kind of body shape you have, an A-line style skirt is guaranteed to be flattering. This slightly asymettrical hem is another great look to try for the spring of 2017. Technically you’re killing a whole bunch of fashion birds with one stone. Not that we’re actually hurting birds, of course.

For the record, this actual skirt is from ASOS. It’s £35, and you can find it HERE.

10 – Green Blazer

What about a green blazer? This could easily be thrown on with some jeans and a simple white tee, or even over the top of a neutral-coloured sweater, and adds that green injection you’re looking for, for your St Patricks Day outfits. In fact, a cleverly-teamed blazer is one of the easiest ways to inject a brand new shade or colour into your closet. It might seem like a scary shade, but think about it – you would wear a green sweater with jeans without any problems, so why wouldn’t you wear a green blazer? It’s a much simpler way of adding some new colours.

We love stripes, and although they can be quite hard to wear, there’s something very wearable about this cute green look. Team your casual ripped white jeans with a green and white striped tee, long-sleeved or otherwise, and you’re adding that vital green and Irish injection you need to work the outfit for the day. Shamrock and leprechaun-themed accessories are optional.

Need a look that is slightly more dressy than jeans, but not quite as dressy as sequins? What about an off-the-shoulder and ruffled look? We love this little dress, effortlessly worn with some opaque black tights and black court shoes, but you could also wear those thigh-high boots you’ve been waiting for an excuse to wear, and also black ankle booties too. The possibility are endless. Also – we predict this easy green dress to be a very easy wear for summer. Add some sandals and you’ve got on of the easiest, yet coolest, looks of them all.

These little look reminds us of something Tinkerbell-esque, and that’s just one reason why we loved it so. That cute striped sweater underneath that green, almost-pinafore style dress … It’s a very cute combination, and rather flattering one too. Leave the tights out for when the weather heats up, and you’ve got a look that you really could wear all year around.

17 – Green Coat + Cosy

If you need a hand making green work in your daily wardrobe, (whether it’s for St. Patrick’s Day or not), learn how to pair it with neutral items you already have in your closet. Your regular blue jeans, for example, could easily be jazzed up with a green top for the summer, or a sweater for the colder, winter weather. Or in this case, a green coat has been used to brighten up an otherwise black outfit. That one green item could just add all the Irish you need to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

19 – Laced-Up

These lace-up designs have been all over the high street and catwalks recently, and we loved the look so much, we even featured it in Spring 2017 Fashion Trends. Team your khaki green version with a dusky-pink or pastel-pink sweater for the cooler temperature, and add some casual white pumps to keep things day-time appropriate. You could easily switch those pumps for some killer heels later on when the party really gets started, and you could stripe down to a nude cami or bodysuit underneath that sweater too.

20 – Little Green Pop

We’re going back to the world of green handbags again, and we love this one, a more luxurious darker green for when you’re not feeling particularly bright and bold. You could go for a monochrome look underneath, rocking trousers if you’re not brave enough to wear a white skirt. That black shirt looks fabulous classy though, what do you think? We love it!

21 – Green Trousers

And when you’re feeling nothing but bold and bright, we’d suggest these killer green trousers, nicely tailored and with just the right amount of ruffles to make them a feature piece. The look has been left relatively simple elsewhere – flats in the place of heels, and also a cosy grey sweater to keep things nice and warm. It’s a great look for those daytime celebration events. Or just lazy days at home, of course. We should totally try and find some green Irish-themed pyjamas!
