10 – All Black Everything
If you’re going with all-black loafers, you might as well go with all-black everything. OK, so not all-black everything as we love the gold studs on these Diane Von Furstenberg loafers.
Pair your black loafers with casual black trousers, a black camisole and black overlay (like you can see here) and of course, the Chanel bag is optional!
Can’t go wrong with all black everything we say!
11 – Blazer It Up
When looking at ways to wear black loafers, you need to remember that these are quite a formal kind of shoe and although they can be worn in more casual ways, they were created for a more smart appeal.
Rather than wearing your black loafers with ripped black jeans or leggings, opt for a more structure approach with tailored black trousers instead. these with a smart white shirt and a black boyfriend-style blazer for a look that is suitable for the office. Switch the loafers for heels and open a few of those shirt buttons and you have a great day-to-night look too.
12 – Loafers + His shirt
For those days you’re stuck at his in last night’s clothes and no spares to get changed into, this is a great look. Pair your little black skirt with one of this shirts, tucked in. Throw on your loafers and some super cool sunnies and your disaster has been averted.
This Miu Miu black loafers have been paired with an Isabelle Marant skirt and Anya Hindmarch bag, but any little black bag will do just nicely. Keep everything nice and casual so it isn’t obvious you’re not wearing your own clothes! 😉
In case you needed any more proof that this look is the right look, here’s another fashion blogger who rocks the same, except hers is with studded Diane Von Furstenberg beauties instead!
We love the cute and carefree way the shirt has been tied at the waist here which is actually a great idea if you want to give the impression of a hourglass figure – a small waist with larger hips.
13 – Little Red Skirt
Loafers and tights look great so while you’re getting your legs out, why not take full advantage and pair it with the cutest of skirts like this little red one.
We love the way she’s incorporated different colours into this look, with the pale blue shirt and the grey jumper. If there are too many colours for you, don’t be afraid to take things back to basic with monochrome. A black sweater with white shirt comb would also work great with the red skirt and black loafers.
14 – All White
White is a very brave colour to wear and if you’re anything like most us, we just can’t be trusted to pull it off. If you are one of the lucky ones who can wear white without spilling your coffee, covering it with bolognese or grounding it with grass stains, why not rock your black loafers with a white tailored two piece – blazer and trousers?
These Zara black loafers have been teamed with Banana Republic trousers and a Forever 21 blazer but if this is too structured for you, don’t be afraid to swap the white ‘slacks’ for white jeans, and the white blazer for a black one. As we said, white is a very brave colour and not one many of us can wear for long.
15 – Vintage Clutch
We love the vintage clutch bag in this look. Then again, there’s not much about this look we didn’t like. It’s not a combination we would normally have put together but somehow it just works.
These Zara black loafers have been put together with a Zara casual shirt and patterned off-white trousers from Banana Republic. We think off-white jeans would work just as well if the pattern is a tad too much for you. We are very much in love with these easy-wear slouched tee though.
16 – Heeled Loafers
There’s something quite hot about those heeled loafers so we feel they deserve a little special mention here. We think this is definitely the case when you take a peek and realise you’re killing two looks in one here – ways to wear black loafers and the bomber jacket too! Kim Kardashian was recently seen wearing one, as was Gigi Hadid. It’s a big trend for the coming spring 2016 season… Just watch this space.
We love the way this fashion blogger is rocking her heeled black loafers with the tartan-lined bomber jacket and casual skinny black jeans. It’s such a simple look and with the right hair and makeup, could even look a bit rockabilly if you’re a fan.. Which we are. Either way, this is a look we’re sure to be copying soon.
17 – Heeled Loafers (Round Two)
Just because we couldn’t get enough of them the first time around, we’re featuring these delicious Hidden fashion heeled loafers one more time but this time, we’re showing you how to wear them with a skirt.
Teamed with a H&M mini-skirt, a longer white man’s shirt and a casual vest / tank-style knitted sleeveless jumper and you have a look that is casually cool and almost 70’s inspired at the same time. We love the vintage bag that has been teamed with this look. Sometimes it pays to go thrift-hunting. If this is something you’re into, definitely check out the fashion blogger’s blog! It’s full of great ways to wear thrifted and vintage pieces. We can’t get enough so go show her some love!
18 – A Pop of Colour
We love black loafers because they’re easy to wear but there’s something about these loafers with a flash of blue that makes us want them so very, very much.
These boldly blue loafers are from Target but we’re busy hunting them down in the UK for you lovely ladies. If you manage to find them before we do, make sure you come back and let us know. We want to buy a pair for ourselves!
(Because more than anything else, we love shoes!)
In case you don’t yet own a pair of your very own black loafers, we think you should take a peek at some of our favourites below:
