Do you want your Halloween makeup look to really stand out this year? It’s getting harder and harder to make your look more unique now, isn’t it? People are really thinking outside the box when it comes to their customer and makeup choices on this extra-spooky day of the year. We think we’ve found a few looks that you might be able to get on board with, however, and we’d like to get things started with these absolute treats:
1 – Hot Halloween Harley Quinn
Harley Quinn – she’s just the right combination of crazy and cute, right? That’s what we think anyway, and we love this classic take on Harley Quinn makeup, with the traditional black and red design. Although the newer pink and blue updated version of HQ is amazing and we love it, there’s a very special little place in our hearts reserved for the old-school version of her. What do you think? Which one is your favourite?

2 – Glitterastic Skull Face
It takes some pretty incredible skills to recreate Halloween makeup looks like this one, although this makeup artist seems to have done it with ease. We love the green hair as an added touch for this look, although you’ll be happy to know you can buy hair sprays, hair chalks, and even semi- and temporary colours. Green doesn’t need to be along commitment if you don’t want it to be. Glitter has been used very brilliantly, just as all amazing Halloween makeup looks should have, and those little pieces reflect the light just enough to really bring it to life and give it a completely 3D feel. If you want to be frightening, you might as well be really frightening!

3 – Half n’ Half Face
This half and half face is out of this world, and if we’re honest, we can’t quite believe it’s possible to achieve such brilliant artwork on your face! If you don’t know what kind of thing you want to dress up as for Halloween, why not go half and half – a brilliant idea if you’re a Gemini who’s known for being a little … well, split?
We like this Stargazer White Foundation for a really good and solid white base.

4 – Only In Your Nightmares
This look really does come out of our nightmares, and if you’re going to go all out, you might as well go all out and colourful. That’s what we love the most about these amazing Halloween makeup looks – they’re certainly colourful! (Well, most of them …) A serious amount of work has gone into this detailed Halloween makeup design, and if you’re going to try something like this on the big day, may we make a little suggestion? Practice first! If you don’t have a practice run at this, there’s a good chance it won’t go quite to plan on the 31st October, and that will just ruin everything.

5 – Stitched
Simple but effective – that’s what we love about this Halloween look. So many people are afraid of dolls these days, it makes sense to dress up as one on the freakiest day of the year. We love the way the lips have been designed here – a heart that looks as if it’s been stitched right onto her face. It’s the little touches that often make a huge difference, and in this simple makeup look, that’s definitely the case.

6 – Mrs. Kreuger
What better way to show your love for horror movies than to dress up as your favourite characters for Halloween. And, if your favourite character just so happens to be a male, think outside the box and make yourself a female version of it. A little bit like a much freakier version of Mrs. Claus. It’s a cool idea, right? This look is both fabulous and super creepy in equal measures!
There are lots of liquid latex products on the market, but we found this one quite easy to work with > Mehron Liquid Latex.

7 – Extra Creepy Halloween Makeup Ideas
You’d be amazed at how creepy it can be to just accentuate your regular facial features. Make your lips or smile appear bigger, or even your eyes wider. This could be a doll, it could be a scary clown, and it could even be a combination of loads of different things. We do know that the look is super spooky and just perfect for Halloween nights.

8 – White Walker
It’s like a zombie, but a ghost zombie. If anyone asks, just tell them you’re a white walker. It’s a cool look, and quite an easy one too. You won’t need lots of colours or beauty products to get the look done. A mixture of blacks, whites, and greys is suitable for a look this creepy in its finished nature. Is it one that you would try?

9 – Creepy Cheshire Cat
Take your favourite characters and creep them up! Here, we have a creepy Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, but you could do the same with a whole bunch of different characters. Make Piglet scary, or Eeyore. It might be funny, but better than that, it might just work. You might come up with the newest Halloween makeup craze that EVERYONE is talking about.

10 – Death Queen
Cool name, cool Halloween makeup too. Glitter has been used, but there’s nothing sparkly or magical about this look. Well, unless you’re talking about black magic, obviously. You could go as crazy as you liked with a look like this one, and you could even take things into a more subtle direction, should you want to. It’s fabulous though, and super spooky to boot, so of course, it’s a winner for us.
If you want a cheap but well-rated colour palette to play around and practice with, we’d suggest this one by Technic > 8 Colours Face Paint Palette.

11 – Creepy Vampire Bride
Trawl the charity shops for the most ghoulish wedding dress you can find, and then destroy it. Spray it with blood, and throw some of it on your face too. There’s something very un-religious about this look, and we can’t help but think it could be taken a hundred different ways. We’re going with creepy vampire bride though, what do you think?

12 – Spooky Somethings
We’re not even sure what this is meant to be, but with those big, black eyes, we do know that we wouldn’t want to come up against something that looked like this in an alleyway on a dark night. Oh, and if we come across something that looks like on Halloween night, we’ll definitely be running in a totally different direction. This look reminds us of a movie that we watched recently, called “Don’t Kill It”. Give it a watch and let us know if this makeup design reminds you of the same thing.
(Warning – it’s a bit scary.)

13 – Devious Harley
She looks really mischievous in this look, we think, and definitely captures the essence of the delightful HQ. She could be looking for her Joker, or she could be looking to steal handbags and start trouble. Who knows? When she looks as cute as this though, we don’t mind hanging around to find out.

14 – White as Death
The contrasts in this look are what makes the whole thing look as frightening as it does, big black eyes over white face and hair, and those beautiful red lips too. We love a good red lipstick look, but this is definitely not the kind of look that we could wear to work, that’s for sure. Is it spooky enough for you?

15 – Pop Art Prettiness
If you want to look just as cute as you do Halloweenie, move away from all things scary and go for something a bit more feminine instead. Just like this pop art look, for example, which is not only adorable but super easy to recreate at home. And there are loads of Youtube tutorials you can follow too. (We know that because we’ve spent hours watching them … )

16 – Frozen Silver
Wow, a silver look. That’s quite a cool for Halloween, don’t you think? Like she has been frozen in time? Does that sound like a horror story to you? Different coloured contact lenses are often what gives many of these looks the finishing edge, so we’d definitely recommend checking them out if there seems to be something missing from yours. Just make sure that you’re buying from a reliable and reputable company. You’re sticking these on your eyes, after all.

17 – Saw Inspired
We loved the movies and we don’t think we’ll ever stop watching them. This look is a very easy one if you have the right tools to hand, and you just need three colours — black, white and red. Going back to what we said about those contact lenses, red is just a creepy eye colour in general so it’s definitely worth adding them to a wide range of different Halloween makeup looks.

18 – Hald Dead, Half Alive
For when you can’t really make your mind up, here comes the half n’ half face. You can be half pretty and half dead. Or rotting. Dying. Or, you know, whatever you want to be. The half and half look is one that can be applied to a number of different starting points. And, when you stand the right way to the camera, you’ll even get a few photos where someone will recognise that it’s you!

19 – Green + Slimy
What a fun and cool look, perfect for those that don’t want to put too many hours worth of work into their amazing Halloween makeup looks. With some different colours and a bit of imagination, you might be surprised by what you can come up with. Just remember to come back and show us. We’d love to see what we might have inspired!

20 – Black Clown Halloween Makeup Ideas
You’d be amazed by what you can do with a bit of black liner, and if there’s one product you invest heavily in, especially around Halloween time, that would be it. Add some designs around the eyes, nose, and mouth, and you’ve easily got a clown on your hands. Add some whiskers and you’ve got yourself a cat Halloween costume. There are so many ways you can use it, but you don’t know what you’ll create until you start …
So, go!

21 – Bloodshot
Those eyes … There’s something very sinister about them, and we think it’s got something to do with the blood vessels that shouldn’t be around them. It could be a vampire, it could be something dead … Or it could be something we’ve never seen before. It certainly works for Halloween!
